No, you do not have a problem with your charging system. 30 mins, is not enough time to charge a dead battery.
Do the dismantle on the ignition switch and remove the, park-with-lights-on wire, than you will never ever have the problem of running the battery down by turning the switch to park position. You will then have two off positions. Running the battery down once was enough to cause me to eliminate this problem!!
